News from the “Pete”

UPDATED JULY 25, 2019: It was a high scoring week by Petersen standards as we not only had a new leader emerge, but had 4 bowlers jump into the top 20, with 3 of those bowlers moving into the top 5 spots of the Singles Major standings.

Now leading the Pete is Kenny Calkins III from Des Moines, IA after posting his 1,599 last Saturday. Kenny rolled an amazing five 200+ games in his 8-game set to drop Steve Jakubowski into second place and surpass Steve’s previous leading score by 36 pins.

The two bowlers who jumped into the top five in the standings were Steve Greenspan from Vernon Hills, IL who posted a 1,556 to move into 4th place, and Bill Mettee from Indianola, IA rolled a 1,551 putting him 3rd place. Steve Lingertot from Ypsilanti, MI moved into a tie for 13th place with his 1,485 tally.

Remember, we are GUARANTEEING a minimum $1,000 payout for the first 75 places in this year’s Pete. Right now a score of 1,400 is sitting in 75th place – that’s only a 175 average!
