News from the “Pete”

UPDATED 7/26/2021 – There has been a lot of movement in the top 10 positions of the singles major division of the Pete over the past few weeks. The weekend of July 17th not only saw our new leader, Joe Beck (Oregon, OH) claim the #1 spot with his 1,635 score, but Kevin Onweller (Swanton, OH) jumped into the top 10 (now in 8th place) with his 1,566.

This past weekend produced an onslaught of scores with three additional bowlers from Jeff Poholsky’s squad (1 PM on 7/23) jumping into the coveted top ten positions. Now sitting in second place is Charlie Standish (Lawrenceburg, IN) who came within 5 pins of the Petersen lead by rolling a 1,630 for his 8-game set. Former Pete Champion Dean Billings (Rootstown, OH) made his run for the Pete lead posting a nice 1,598 which has him sitting in 4th place. And finally, Adam Ishman’s (Grand Haven, MI) 1,559 series has him holding on to the 9th place spot.
